THYME, Thymus vulgaris
Perennial plant about 40 cm tall. Used as a seasoning for thick soups, venison, fatty meats, cheese, potatoes and cold meats. It has a therapeutic effect, it is a diuretic, expectorant, relieves stomach cramps, neuralgia, and supports digestion. Thyme infusion or oil is used externally in skin diseases. Sowing in April and May, straight into the ground, in rows every 25 cm. In the temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius, emergence takes place within 7-14 days. The plants are cut at the beginning of April in the second year and dried in an airy, shaded place.

Działa leczniczo, działa moczopędnie, wykrztuśnie, łagodzi skurcze żołądka, nerwobóle, wspomaga trawienie. Napar lub olejek tymiankowy stosuje się zewnętrznie w chorobach skóry. Wysiew w kwietniu i maju, prosto do gruntu, w rzędach co 25 cm. W temperaturze 20-25 stopni Celsjusza wschody następują w ciągu 7-14 dni. Rośliny ścina się na początku kwietnia w drugim roku i suszy w przewiewnym, zacienionym miejscu.
