Biennial plants 15-25 cm tall with numerous blue, pink or white flowers gathered in loose spikes. Sowing seeds from May to July under covers, on a seedbed or directly to a permanent place. In the temperature of about 18 degrees, the emergence takes 14-20 days. Plant the seedlings into the ground in August – September at a distance of 20×30 cm. Plants bloom in May, June and July of the following year. It grows best in moderately compact soils, in sunny places or in partial shade. Application: for low beds, borders, for rock gardens, for planting containers, and also as a potted plant.
