The fertilizer for orchids from the Mineral gel series is a liquid mineral fertilizer in the form of a gel that can be dissolved in water. Designed to supply all species and varieties of orchids grown. In particular the most popular varieties: phalaenopsis (Phalenopsis) dendrobium (Dendrobium) and cymbidium. The gel formula of the fertilizer dissolves very easily in water. The fertilizing solution can be successfully used to fertilize plants grown using traditional methods as well as in hydroponic cultivation.
Orchid fertilizer fully meets the nutritional needs of orchids for macro- and micronutrients. The content of large amounts of nitrogen and micronutrients (iron manganese and molybdenum) in the fertilizer makes the leaves of the orchids beautifully green. All these ingredients actively contribute to the production of chlorophyll – a green pigment found in the leaves and in the unique roots of Phalaenopsis orchids. Potassium and phosphorus in balanced doses stimulate the plant to set flower shoots and to produce a healthy firm root system. Properly nourished flowers stay on the plant for a long time. Boron zinc and copper also play an important role without which the decorative value of ornamental plants decreases. That is why the fertilizer for orchids from the Mineral Gel series complements all the required nutrients. Systematic fertilization of orchids is especially important as the specialized orchid substrate struggles to hold the nutrients that are provided during watering.
Application method
The package contains a transparent cap for precise and convenient dosing of the fertilizer. The cap indicates three dosage levels depending on the amount of water we use for irrigation:
Level I – a dose of 7 ml of fertilizer to be dissolved in 3 liters of water
Level II – a dose of 14 ml of fertilizer to be dissolved in 6 liters of water
Level III – a dose of 21 ml of fertilizer to be dissolved in 9 liters of water
We use the fertilizer while watering through:
traditional watering with a watering can with a solution of fertilizer and water an orchid in a special pot with a raised bottom
dipping plants in a bowl of fertilizer solution with water during watering.
The fertilizer should be used during the intensive and flowering period as well as in the period preceding flowering fertilize the plants once a week. During the rest of the growing season fertilize the plants once a month. Do not exceed the recommended doses as this could damage or destroy the plants.
