The fertilizer for cacti from the Mineral gel series is a liquid mineral fertilizer in the form of a gel that can be dissolved in water. Designed for fertilizing all cacti, coarse plants and other succulents. The plants that can also be fed with fertilizer for cacti from the Mineral gel series include, among others: round-leaved crassus (the so-called “tree of happiness”), guinea sansiewieria, zamiokulkas, clematis, kalanchoe, viviparous, aloe, agave, yucca, sedum, colony, and many others. The gel formula of the fertilizer dissolves very easily in water. The fertilizing solution can be successfully used to fertilize plants grown using traditional methods, as well as in hydroponic cultivation.
Cacti and other succulents are plants that can store water in different organs. Thanks to this, they are able to survive very long periods without water. So there is no need to water them frequently. Some of these plants can be watered once every 2 weeks, others once a month, and some will last a few months without watering. But despite watering so rarely, they need the nutrients that are best provided when watering. It is good to adjust fertilization to the plant species – the less we water it, the less fertilizing the plant requires. The fertilizer for cacti from the Mineral Gel series, thanks to the potassium content, strengthens the resistance to drought. Potassium stimulates flowering species and cultivars to form flower buds.
Application method
The package contains a transparent cap for precise and convenient dosing of the fertilizer. The cap indicates three dosage levels, depending on the amount of water we use for irrigation:
Level I – a dose of 7 ml of fertilizer to be dissolved in 3 liters of water
Level II – a dose of 14 ml of fertilizer to be dissolved in 6 liters of water
Level III – a dose of 21 ml of fertilizer to be dissolved in 9 liters of water
Fertilize the plants once every 2 weeks from March to October. However, during the winter dormancy (November to February), fertilize once a month. Fertilize young plants using half of the recommended dose. Do not exceed the recommended doses, as this could damage or destroy the plants.
