Why is it so important to fertilize flowering plants?
Flowering plants use a lot of energy, which they get from the nutrients they provide. In order for the plants to flower long and profusely, they first of all need a lot of potassium. In the fertilizer for garden flowers we find a very large amount of potassium (21%) in relation to the other ingredients. Improperly nourished plants bloom less and suffer from nutrient deficiencies. It should be remembered that the medium which is used intensively becomes sterile after some time. In flower beds where ornamental plants are grown, the spaces between plants are regularly weeded. Dead above-ground parts of plants that die for the winter are removed. These care treatments disrupt the circulation of organic matter in nature. In natural conditions, without human intervention, all dead plant parts are broken down by microorganisms, and thus nutrients return to the soil in forms that are available to plants. Therefore, in the garden, where everything is subordinated to the man who cares for its order, fertilizer for garden flowers should be used regularly.
