SURFINES – CRYSTALLINE FERTILIZER FOR SURFINIAS
Surfinie – is a crystalline fertilizer for surfinias to be dissolved in water. Intended for nourishing surfinia and other long-stemmed petunia, also grown in compositions with other plants. It contains a set of macro- and micronutrients adapted to the nutritional needs of surfinia.
The fertilizer guarantees the proper growth and development of plants. It ensures high health of the fertilized plants, their abundant and long-lasting flowering and intensive color of flowers. This fertilizer is used by breeders in professional cultivation of balcony and bedding plants.

The fertilizer has an increased iron content (Fe – 0.14%), because surfinas show an increased demand for this component. Iron deficiency in surfinia manifests itself in the interveinal yellow discoloration of the leaves. The fertilizer quickly replenishes its deficiencies, which affects the regeneration of leaves.
The most important component of the fertilizer, stimulating plants to flower continuously and increasing plant resistance to water shortages, is potassium. This is especially important because surfinas grown in small containers and balcony boxes, producing a huge green mass, need large amounts of water, because they intensively transpire it from the leaves.
In such a root ball limited by a pot, there is a need not only for an increased frequency of watering, but also for the supply of nutrients. Crystalline fertilizers are intervention fertilizers – they immediately replenish nutrient deficiencies thanks to minerals that are available to plants in easily digestible forms.
Application method
Use once a week while watering. Prepare a water solution, allocating 1 teaspoon of fertilizer to 5 liters of water (1 g of fertilizer per 1 liter of water). Water the plants with the solution obtained in this way until the substrate is moist. During the flowering period, fertilize the plants with each watering. Plants should be watered after the substrate, avoiding contact with leaves and flowers.
The recommended doses should not be exceeded, because the fertilizer is highly condensed.

Nawóz posiada podwyższoną zawartość żelaza (Fe – 0,14%), gdyż surfiny wykazują zwiększone zapotrzebowanie na ten składnik. Niedobór żelaza w surfinii objawia się żółtym przebarwieniem liści między nerwami. Nawóz szybko uzupełnia jego niedobory, co wpływa na regenerację liści.
Najważniejszym składnikiem nawozu, stymulującym rośliny do ciągłego kwitnienia i zwiększającym odporność roślin na niedobory wody, jest potas. Jest to szczególnie ważne, ponieważ surfiny uprawiane w małych pojemnikach i skrzynkach balkonowych, wytwarzając ogromną zieloną masę, potrzebują dużych ilości wody, ponieważ intensywnie ją transpirują z liści.
W takiej bryle korzeniowej ograniczonej doniczką istnieje potrzeba nie tylko zwiększonej częstotliwości podlewania, ale także dostarczenia składników odżywczych. Nawozy krystaliczne są nawozami interwencyjnymi – natychmiast uzupełniają niedobory składników odżywczych dzięki składnikom mineralnym, które są dostępne dla roślin w łatwo przyswajalnej formie.
Metoda aplikacji
Stosować raz w tygodniu podczas podlewania. Przygotuj roztwór wodny, rozdzielając 1 łyżeczkę nawozu na 5 litrów wody (1 g nawozu na 1 litr wody). Otrzymanym w ten sposób roztworem podlewaj rośliny do momentu, aż podłoże będzie wilgotne. W okresie kwitnienia nawozić rośliny przy każdym podlewaniu. Rośliny należy podlewać po podłożu, unikając kontaktu z liśćmi i kwiatami.
Nie należy przekraczać zalecanych dawek, gdyż nawóz jest silnie zagęszczony.
